Bluon Energy was founded in 2011 to create an R-22 replacement refrigerant that increases energy efficiency and extends the life of existing HVAC-R equipment. TdX 20 was developed empirically and iteratively with hundreds of formulas field tested to allow Bluon to create a unique energy efficient product from the ground up.

Bluon Energy: Bluon Energy was founded in 2011 to create an R-22 replacement refrigerant that increases energy efficiency and extends the life of existing HVAC-R equipment. Bluon TdX 20 is now also known by its internationally recognized ASHRAE designation R-458A. In order to ensure efficiency is maximized with TdX 20 installations, Bluon mandates training for their affiliated mechanical contractors where they teach the Bluon Mindset, where tuning and optimization are the focus. Bluon Energy is located in Sacramento, CA with sales and technical professionals across the country.
